March 25, 2007 - New City Ordinance Requires Rain Sensor on Newly Installed Irrigation Systems

The city of Lincoln, NE recently passed that all newly installed irrigation systems, both commercial and residential, must have a rain sensor installed. This is the first of many such laws in our region coming to help conserve water.

December 15, 2005 - Mike Bousquet Wins Award

Mike Bousquet, President of REAMS, was the recipient of the 2005 Wayne State College Alumni Achievement Award. Mike graduated from Wayne State in 1970, and is currently serving as Treasurer on the Executive Committee of the Wayne State Foundation.

December 1, 2005 - Ron Bousquet Sr. Becomes a CAIS

The Irrigation Association is pleased to announce that Ron Bousquet, Sr. Vice President of REAMS, has passed the required IA Certification Examination to become a Certified Agricultural Irrigation Specialist (CAIS).
