March 25, 2007 - New City Ordinance Requires Rain Sensor on Newly Installed Irrigation Systems

The city of Lincoln, NE recently passed that all newly installed irrigation systems, both commercial and residential, must have a rain sensor installed. This is the first of many such laws in our region coming to help conserve water.

2006-2007 - Personnel News

REAMS has had some internal changes that we also wanted to pass along as far as personnel.

- Dave Peck has been appointed to the position of Director of Operations
- Aaron Roberts has been appointed to the position of Director of Sales and Marketing
- Dustin Havranek has been appointed to the position of Manager of the Omaha NE warehouse
- Brian Pohleman has been appointed to the position of Manager of the Marion IA warehouse
- Josh Williams has been appointed to the position of Outside Sales of Eastern NE and Western IA
- Doug Kelly has been appointed to the position of Outside Sales for Eastern IA.

December 15, 2005 - Mike Bousquet Wins Award

Mike Bousquet, President of REAMS, was the recipient of the 2005 Wayne State College Alumni Achievement Award. Mike graduated from Wayne State in 1970, and is currently serving as Treasurer on the Executive Committee of the Wayne State Foundation.

December 1, 2005 - Ron Bousquet Sr. Becomes a CAIS

The Irrigation Association is pleased to announce that Ron Bousquet, Sr. Vice President of REAMS, has passed the required IA Certification Examination to become a Certified Agricultural Irrigation Specialist (CAIS).
