REAMS

FEBRUARY 2010

 Greetings!

What's your New Year's Resolution?

REAMS will be offering important seminars and resources during the winter months to help you take the first important steps toward reaching your goals.

Learn how new innovations can make your business easier and more profitable.

What's Your Strategy this Season?

A Minute with MikeWhat's your strategy this season?

How do you intend to market and sell?  How will your strategy for the new install market be different than your strategy for your
current customer base?

What products are you going to use this year?  Can you increase
efficiency with some of the new products on the market?  How will you incorporate water efficient options?

Are you going to pursue a new category this year?  (Lighting, Sprinklers, Drainage, Water Features)  Or at least learn about an alternative to your primary category?

These are just a few of the things you should be considering when putting together your 2010 plan.  How far along are you in putting your thoughts to paper?

Determining where to start can be difficult, but you have a resource that I highly recommend using - REAMS.

We're here to help.  We can do everything from a formal sit-down to a casual Q&A. Getting outside input can be very beneficial; we consider it a "must" to use both formal and informal advice when putting our plan together.  The more feedback you can get, the better decisions you can make.

Thinking about this stuff now will be vital to your success this season.

Don't wait, the time is now!

-Mike

Tip from Ron: Use Add-A-Zone for Broken Wire Problems

RonWith Spring service right around the corner, here's a handy item for field repairs where you have a broken wire.   Called "Add-A-Zone" its an ingenious device that takes a single good wire and allows you to use if for two zones.

It's great when you have a zone wire that is broken, or when you need to add a valve but don't want to trench in a new wire.  Part of the unit installs in the field, the other part at the clock.  Once installed, it programs and operates the two valves as individual stations on the clock, rather than switching back and forth every other cycle like other "doubling units".

You'll find this helpful unit gets you out of a pinch and saves a lot of digging.
You can read the details here.   Grab one next time you come in.
